| DESIGNER COLLECTION LAUNCHES IN EDINBURGH |

Chalon is pleased to announce the relaunch of their Edinburgh Showroom with two brand new kitchen displays as well as new dining room and other interior design features.
The introduction of a new Chalon Designer Collection display marks the debut of this range within the Scottish market. It provides the classical look and feel of the company’s distinctive Original furniture, whilst its fitted style means it is well suited to any, but certainly, if necessary, more limited spaces and budgets.
The new Edinburgh displays also showcase a brand new Original kitchen, with the very latest Chalon paint finishes and a mix of the most modern, in-demand appliances. Prospective clients are strongly recommended to view the beauty of the new kitchen roomsets for themselves.
A visit to the Queen Street, Edinburgh branch (opposite the Scottish National Portrait Gallery) will be accompanied with a first class design service. Complimentary kitchen design consultations form one of the key parts of the showroom experience, but their comprehensive design service also includes advice on flooring, lighting, soft furnishings and even colours – every element in fact for a successful room. Chalon have been producing their exclusive 'Original' handmade kitchens and classically styled furniture for thirty years now. The company’s distinctive kitchens are a blend of inspired design, solid timber and quality construction, rounded off with a unique finishing style.

| NEW BATHROOM DISPLAYS FOR LONDON & HARROGATE |

Chalon UK Ltd are pleased to announce the installation of two of their latest Bathroom displays – one for their flagship King’s Road, London showroom and the other for their north of England base, in the market town of Harrogate.
The Chalon freestanding bathroom range is relatively new to market but means that exclusive Chalon look is now available throughout the whole home, from the traditional, distinctive kitchen, via dining room, living room or study, on to bedroom and now bathroom. The collection was initially launched via the Hambridge, Somerset head office showroom, but with new displays in two of their key outlets, the company is preparing to push this part of their portfolio further.
Handcrafted from Ash at Chalon’s Somerset workshops and head quarters, the bathroom collection is available in the full range of the company’s distinctive hand painted finishes (although due to the nature of the material, no distressing is available). All sanitary ware is supplied via an exclusive relationship with Lefroy Brooks (see adjacent image for an example).
With a wide variety of new imagery available, as well as the new displays in London and Harrogate, the Chalon Bathroom range is ready to move to the next level. |

| NEW OAK ANCESTRAL KITCHEN RANGE |

Chalon UK Ltd, internationally renown designers and manufacturers of hand crafted kitchens and freestanding furniture, are proud to announce the launch of their new Chalon Ancestral kitchen range.
Constantly striving to create that nowadays all too hard ‘wow factor’ for potential clients, the latest new kitchen range from Chalon is exclusively handcrafted from Oak – the first time the company has created a whole kitchen range using this premium priced, premium quality material.
Taking inspiration for the range from National Trust / English Heritage properties and English kitchens of the past, there was a desire to create an even more traditional kitchen range (a product offering that no main manufacturer is satisfactorily fulfilling).

| CHALON SIGN UP TO APPLIANCE RECYCLING SCHEME |

As a result of the the WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) Regulations which came into force 1st July 2007, Chalon has moved promptly to comply with this environmental initiative.
The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), who are responsible for the implementation of the directive, have assigned Valpak as operator of the Distributor Take Back Scheme (DTS). The Distributor Take Back Scheme (DTS) meets obligations of its members under WEEE regulations.
As a distributor of WEEE, Chalon has decided to join the DTS as a member. This means that the company has chosen to make a financial contribution to the DTS, in respect of like for like appliance replacement purchases amongst its clients, which will be used to assist in the development of WEEE collection facilities throughout the UK.
Scheme members like Chalon will therefore be obliged to make clients aware of the provision of collection facilities in their area. Valpak have made available to the public the use of their national recycling brand www.recycle-more.co.uk, where clients can access specific information relating to WEEE and find out where their nearest WEEE collection points known as Designated Collection Facilities (DCF) are.
