The true authenticity of Chalon furniture reflects the exceptional mastery of our craftsmen.  Passed from generation to generation, these skills, recognised by The Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers, demonstrates our ability to deliver designs offering superb balance between atmosphere, style and originality.
Crafted from solid Quebec Yellow Pine with teak, oak, maple or stone surfaces, each piece can be finished with our unique paint technique, the Chalon signature perfected over many years and which remains a well-kept company secret.  Each item of furniture is finished to the individual customer’s requirements by a team who go through several stages to achieve the desired finish.  This hand work in the construction and finishing of all our products means that there remains a desirable individuality from item to item that gives the Chalon character to our exceptional range of furniture.
All the cabinet making and paint finishing is carried out in our workshops in Hambridge in the South West of England.  Many of the company’s craftsmen were trained in the workshops and Chalon continues to train new furniture makers.
